Surrounding Osaka Station are a number of self-proclaimed "gourmet palaces," each with several floors of restaurants. Exploring them can be fun. Head for restaurants in the Hankyu Grand Building, the Hankyu Samban-gai (in the basement below Hankyu Station), and Acty Osaka (in front of JR Osaka Station).
