Izakaya Toramaru Review

This izakaya (traditional-style) restaurant won't open on days when they aren't able to get a fresh delivery of fish, which tells you how seriously they take their food. Though there is a fairly diverse menu, the main draw here is the expertly prepared sashimi, served in haphazardly shaped pottery dishes. Ask the staff to recommend a good drink from the extensive selection of Japanese sake and shochu. Izakaya Toramaru is housed in a replica warehouse two blocks east of Hoshide-kan.
