Come here for reasonably priced shabu-shabu—thinly sliced beef and vegetables that you boil in broth in the center of your table and then dip into various sauces before eating. Set courses run from ¥3,800 to ¥10,000. Sukiyaki courses and decent sushi and sashimi sets are also available. There are Western-style tables and chairs, but waitresses wear kimonos and serve with all the attention and poise you would expect in a traditional Japanese restaurant.
