In winter, when not submerged in the mineral waters here, you can toast yourself by the burning coals in the irori (sunken hearth) in the lobby of this 1925 inn. Breakfast and dinner are included and are served in your room. The inn is among the shops and galleries near the thermally heated Lake Kinrin, which gives off steam much of the year.
