Enjoy the best of Satsuma specialties in a maze of private and semiprivate Japanese-style rooms. There's an English photo menu, and deluxe set meals range from ¥3,360 to ¥10,500. Highlights include kibinago (raw herring), satsuma-age (fish cakes filled with potato or gobo, burdock root), kurobuta-tonkatsu (breaded, fried pork cutlets from locally bred black pigs). From the Tenmonkan-dori streetcar stop, walk four blocks north through the covered arcade and turn left; the restaurant will be on the right.
