Aso Volcano Museum (Aso Kazan Hakubutsukan)
Aso Volcano Museum (Aso Kazan Hakubutsukan) Review
The Aso Volcano Museum is across from the Kusasenri parking lot and rest area. Want to see what's happening inside the volcano? Two heat-impervious cameras were inserted into the most active part of the volcano, and museum visitors can watch what's being recorded in there. Another display explains that Japan sits on the busiest tectonic plate junction in the world and that these fault lines are visible from space.
