Internet Cafés in Kyoto

Internet Cafés

At the Kyoto Tourist Information Center in the station building, you can use the Internet for ¥100 per 15 minutes. Yu Yu Kukan Internet Cafe has both Macs and PCs and is open 24 hours daily. A free drink is included when you pay ¥500 for one hour of Internet use. Each additional quarter-hour costs ¥100. At c.coquet, on the southeast corner of the Imperial Palace grounds, you can surf on an iBook for free with one drink or food order. The interior is white with pale mint tones, a dreamy space in which to order a meal or latte. It's open from Friday to Wednesday, 9 to 10. On the south end of Shinkyogo-ku arcade is Fujiyama, the haunt of manga otaku (computer geeks). Once you complete the obligatory membership form for ¥300, you can use the Internet for ¥200 per 30 minutes. It's open daily from 9 to 9.
