Ryokan Hiraiwa Review

One of several budget lodgings near the Takase-gawa, Ryokan Hiraiwa appeals to travelers seeking the traditional feeling of tatami-mat rooms. A nice breakfast room and friendly staff make up for the unimpressive decor. A large Japanese-style bath downstairs is great for washing away a day's travel strain, and an even larger public bath is three doors away, but only a few rooms have private baths.
