Fodor's Review:
The rooms at this well-established, tasteful chain hotel vary in price according to size, but even the smallest rooms don't seem claustrophobic thanks to the delicate shoji windows. Family rooms for four people are available. On the 14th floor is Kyoto's only revolving restaurant, which offers splendid views of the city. There's also a branch of the famous Western Kyoto restaurant Kitcho on the premises. The hotel is a five-minute walk from Kyoto Station, and a shuttle bus leaves the Hachijo Exit every 15 minutes. There's a ¥1,050 charge to use the pool and sauna.
