Café Bibliotic HELLO!
Café Bibliotic HELLO! Review
Café Bibliotic HELLO!. The banana trees that mask this airy two-story town-house café are visible from several blocks away. The three lunch options change regularly and range from steak sandwiches to rice and curry dishes. Drinks like Moroccan chai or the playful seasonal smoothies (strawberry, mint, and ginger anyone?) complement desserts like mango and coconut cream or French toast with candied almonds. Browse the wall of books while you're waiting. It's a 10- to 15-minute walk from one of three nearby subway stations, but makes for a nice break spot if you're walking aruonc the neighborhood. Nijo-dori Yanaginobana, Higashi-iru, Haremeicho 650, Nakagyō-ku, Kyōto, 604-0951. 075/231–8625. cafe-hello.jp. No credit cards. Closed Mon.
