New Miyako Hotel

Fodor's Review:

The 10-story white edifice has two protruding wings with landscaping and street lamps reminiscent of an American hotel. On the south side of Kyoto Station, it's convenient for train trips from the city. A friendly guest-relations manager in the bright marble lobby can help you plan your day. The south-wing rooms have been refurbished in bright tones against white, contrasting with the increasingly dated though cheaper rooms in the other wing.
