$$, Vegetarian, Sakyo-ku
Fodor's Review:
Delicious all-vegetarian cuisine with soy-based dishes is the main draw here. Choose between several kinds of homemade soup, spring rolls, noodle dishes, and curries. Meat lovers have sworn that the sweet-and-sour "pork" tastes like the real thing. The staff is hip, environmentally aware, and anti-animal testing. The restaurant has a great view of the mountains from its third-floor vantage point on the corner of Higashioji and Imadegawa and provides an event space on the fourth floor with regular yoga classes.
