Seven floors of everything Japanese – dolls, woodblock prints, kimonos, pottery, and even pearl jewelry – is on sale here. The center caters to tourists with its English-speaking staff. It's good for browsing, and the pricing is fairly reasonable. From the Gion bus stop take Bus 202 or 206 five stops north on Higashi-oji-dori to the Kumano Jinja-mae bus stop. From Kyoto Station use Bus 206; the center is across Maruta-machi-dori from Heian Jingu.
