Fodor's Review

Although it's some distance north of the city center, the deluxe Prince Hotel is regal enough to make you feel like visiting royalty. Rooms are spacious, but the rosy-hue color schemes feel slightly passé compared with other luxury hotels. The quirky architecture makes up for it, though. The doughnut-shape building provides each room a nice view of the surrounding mountains; the interior corridors overlook a pretty garden. A teahouse beside the pond has demonstrations

of the tea ceremony; ask at the helpful concierge desk on the top floor. The French-theme Beaux Sejours is the best pick of the hotel's four eateries. The Kokusai Kaikan subway station is nearby.
