Kobe's main subway line runs from Tanigami in the far north of the city, and passes through Shin-Kobe and San-no-miya stations before continuing west to the outskirts of town. Another line runs along the coast from San-no-miya and links up with the main line at Shin-Nagata Station. Fares start at ¥180 and are determined by destination. The San-no-miya-Shin-Kobe trip costs ¥200.
