Sakae-ya Review
Sakae-ya has traditional Japanese dolls, from Oshie (three-dimensional pictures made of silk) to kimekomi dolls (animals representing the zodiac calendar) to the traditional samurai and kimono-clad ladies. The tiny shop is packed with cloth for doll-making, cupboards for hiding doll-making supplies, and, of course, dolls.
