Luxury awaits you at this downtown hotel, which seems a world away from small-town Abashiri. Rooms in yellows and blues overlook a main road out front or parking at the back. Fish from the local icy waters are a specialty of the Grand Glacier restaurant, which serves Japanese, Chinese, and French food. The weekday lunch buffet is only ¥1,200.
