Kani Honke Review
This crab-eating haven serves raw, steamed, boiled, and baked crustaceans—the waitress will tell you whether the ke-gani (hairy crab), taraba-gani (king crab), or zuwai-kani (snow crab) is in season. The menu is in English and has photographs, so it's easy to choose from the set dinners, which start at ¥4,200. Wood beams, tatami mats, and traditional decorations provide an authentic setting for the feast. Look for the three-story-tall white sign that looks like it will topple at any moment. There's a second location near JR Sapporo Station at Kita 3 Nishi 2.
