At the Ranikhet Tweed and Shawl Factory, a hand-loom production center of woolens, you can buy things to help shut out the cold mountain chill. This operation is run by the Kumaon Regiment for soldiers injured in the line of duty and for army widows. The factory and store are open Monday through Saturday from 9 to 5.
