Airports in Tamil Nadu

Taxis are available at Chennai Airport through prepaid booths just past the baggage claim areas. To pay the least, head to the booth identified as being connected with the Governement of Tamil Nadu rather than those of travel agents. The ride will cost around Rs. 250-Rs. 300.

Trichy's airport is 8 km (5 mi) from the city center. A cab, prepaid at the airport, is your only option. For questions about airport locations or facilities, it's often easiest to contact your airline.
