Many rooms and hallways are a bit bare-bones and dated-looking, but the prices and the central location both count in this large hotel's favor. Rooms in the non-air-conditioned wing overlook banana trees and an old bungalow, and other options also have small verandas and stunning views of the Great Temple and St. Joseph's Church. Beer is available through room service, but only for drinking in your room. Woodlands restaurant serves Indian and Continental vegetarian cuisines.
