This multistory white structure is northwest of the French quarter, about a Rs. 20-Rs. 30 auto-rickshaw ride away. One of Pondy's contemporary hotels, with modern conveniences that can be hard to find closer to the beachfront, the Anandha attracts lots of tour groups and business travelers. The rooms in the back, away from the main road, are the quietest.
