This rooftop terrace restaurant is in the heart of the French quarter, overlooking a side street with whitewashed Mediterranean-style buildings. Open at 10:30 am for breakfast, it's a good place to head for authentic bouillabaisse, seafood gumbo, and fresh, delicately flavored seafood. If the heat becomes too sweltering for eating outside, then head to an enclosed, air-conditioned area for some relief. There are also three spacious, homey guest rooms available.
