Komala's
Komala's Review
A South Indian McDonald's, Komala's began as a restaurant for Indian expats in Singapore. Now very popular in Chennai as well, it serves traditional favorites, such as masala dosa (wafer-thin rice and lentil pancakes with a spicy potato filling). The restaurant is a self-service cafeteria: pay at the counter, bring your receipt to the food area, collect a numbered placeholder, and then wait for the food to be delivered to your seat. It all happens more quickly than it takes to explain.
