This Mediterranean-hued, three-story restaurant is tucked away in the heart of Udaipur's Old City, with seating inside, out on an airy veranda, and in the courtyard in a relaxed setting. The food caters to the western palate and the menu, just a page long, is a refreshing change from the sheaves of standard Indian, Chinese, and Continental options elsewhere. Owned by a German expat, who has two other establishments, the restaurant specializes in homemade pastas, some with
an Indian (spicy) twist, and all dishes are freshly prepared using filtered water. Try the aubergine mozzarella ravioli, grilled fish, or Chicken Wajid Ali (stuffed with cheese, butter, dry fruits, and served with carrot rice). Beer and wine are available, as is free Wi-Fi, and a selection of unusual locally made cutlery is also sold here.
