Right on the shore of Lake Pichola opposite Lal Ghat, this pleasant and popular lively outdoor restaurant with a bar has a hidden approach via narrow lanes; the restaurant has stunning views of the City Palace complex and the Lake Palace. It serves good Indian fare; try Rajasthani standards such as paneer do piaza (soft white cheese in an onion gravy), laal maas (spiced mutton), and mutton rajputana (spicy, Mewari-style) along with decent Continental
and Chinese dishes. A vegetarian special is Ambrai paneer. There's a pleasant bar, and the restaurant is open all day. If you're here at dinner, ask that a mosquito repellant coil is placed under your table. Very busy and popular with tourists, in season it can be hard to get a table.
