Fodor's Essential India
The Copper Chimney
The Copper Chimney Review
Taking its name from the copper chimney at its center, this restaurant, with beautiful etched glass windows, has a regular clientele of business people, local elite, and international tourists. Although the menu has continental and Chinese selections, the Copper Chimney is best known for its heavy, North Indian dishes. The palak paneer (peas with cheese) and the sweet-and-sour lassis are exceptional. This is also a good place to try the traditional lal mas (mutton in gravy), Rajasthani-style kadai chicken (cooked in a heavy wok, and spicy), or Tandoor (clay oven) meat dishes.
