Fodor's Review

Established in 1880 and still selling the finest hand-engraved, enameled, and embossed brassware—including oversize old trays and historic armor—this is a great place to look for antique metalwork.

Worst customer Service and very Rude owner and defective items full of dirt

Me and one of my friend visited this store on MI Road Jaipur to buy some brass handicrafts for our family. The moment we entered the store one of their sales men started bothering us on what we want. He did not knew the price of a single product and did not even knew the material with which item is made. Purposely, they have not put price tag on most of their products so that they can charge Foreign Customers XX times more. We walked around the store

and noticed that several items were covered in dirt and most of the items had some or the other defects. There were some 3 customers from USA in the store who were being heavily overcharged. I went close to the area where they were standing. Seeing me close by those Foreign Customers, owner got pissed off that he might lose those Foreign customers if we express shock over the price they were being charged. He instead started abusing us that we don't have the potential to buy those products and we should leave the store. The products were being sold for 150 to 200 dollars which was exorbitant price. Owner was extremely rude and the body language of sales men was as if we are forcing him with a stick.
