Fodor's Expert Review Brys Fort

Created to look like a faux fort, Brys tends to verge more toward back-lot film-set fantasy than historical accuracy---for example, the lobby is graced with large marble elephants, peacock murals, and chandeliers---but it's a brave effort. The rooms are spacious and contain large photographs of Jaisalmer, but the decor departs from the lobby here and is unremarkable; attached bathrooms are in yellow sandstone.
