There are domestic airports in Jaipur, Jodhpur, and Udaipur. Although there's an airport in Jaisalmer, civilian flights no longer operate for security reasons. Indian Airlines flies among the three and connects Rajasthan with Delhi, Bombay, and Aurangabad. Ask your travel agent about service on private airlines and remember that flights to and within Rajasthan fill up -- reserve well in advance. The Udaipur-Jodhpur sector is particularly difficult as there's no rail connection between the two cities. Private carriers such as Jet Airways and Sahara offer some connections in Rajasthan, including daily flights from Delhi to Jaipur, Udaipur, and Jodhpur.
