This is a terrific place for coffee and dessert, although the setting is a little rough around the edges. It's one of the few places open for breakfast -- if you're in the mood for stuffed parathas (bread). If you dine upstairs, over the main dining room, you can sit in a fiberglass shell made to look like a cave. The house specialty is bundi ki laddu (sugary, deep-fried chick-pea-flour balls), and the rasgulla (cheese balls in a sugary syrup) and ras malai (sweet cheese dumplings smothered in cream) melt in your mouth. The silver thali has a good assortment of vegetables and breads, and is one of the best on M. I. Road.
