This gorgeous, cheerful yellow haveli -- one of the most popular Heritage Hotels in the state -- is close to the Pink City, but its large lawn distances you from urban noise. Built in 1892 as the city residence of Shekhavati Rajputs, the bungalow has elegant rooms with carved antique furniture, restored frescoes, bedspreads with traditional Rajasthani prints, rug-covered tile floors, and brass-frame mirrors (in the bathrooms). In the public areas are crystal chandeliers, hunting trophies, and various weapons. Jeep and camel safaris -- for hire at an extra charge -- take you to a nearby village and fort.
