An ugly, modern and drab exterior conceals some comfortable, attractive rooms with wooden floors and a lot of emphasis on white and black. The public areas in this sprawling hotel lack style but not luxury. Though it's away from the center of town in a not-very-pleasant neighborhood, the Taj is nevertheless one of the city's best hotels.
