Across the road from Diu's most popular beach, Radhika's two-story white villas with red shingle roofs encircle a courtyard and pool area that has Grecian statues, flying dolphins, and other kitschy touches. The large rooms are attractive and fronted by a veranda. They're furnished with floral Indian bedspreads and matching curtains, white-marble tiles, and large, clean bathrooms. Private cottages are available for honeymooners and others seeking seclusion and romance. Its neatly decorated Rivera restaurant offers hearty north Indian specialties like nans (oven-baked Indian-style breads), tandoori chicken, chicken curry, paneer palak (spinach with cottage cheese) and more, as well as a few Continental choices, offering an air-conditioned, relaxing place to have a meal, even if you are not staying in the hotel. Pros: pretty, comfortable, close to the beach and airport, good food. Cons: some may find it cheesy, a tad expensive, far from town.
