The Taj's multicuisine restaurant and coffee shop, near the airport, is a bit far to come for a meal but if you're heading out, are tired of the city's bustle, and have sampled enough Gujarati thalis, come here to relax in luxury. The restaurant's dishes—Continental, pasta, a slice of Indian, sandwiches, cakes—are well-cooked and flavorsome. Overlooking the pool, the restaurant is pleasant and peaceful, with good service. The buffet lunches and dinners (Rs. 500), which include Indian, Continental, and a bit of Chinese, and Gujarati, are sumptuous and a good value. It's open from 6 AM until 2 AM.
