Built in 1933 on a hillside above the banks of Fateh Sagar Lake, this former royal guesthouse is filled with nostalgia. From the hotel's verandas and gardens you can get a lovely view of the lake and the nearby Sajjan Garh fort. The maharana's hunting trophies line the entranceway. The restaurant serves Indian food. Rooms in the new wing are modern; the old wing, though not lavish, has original architecture and Rajput relics. Pros: nice views of the lake, quiet area, good service. Cons: expensive.
