Ambrai Review
On the bank of Lake Pichola opposite Lal Ghat, this pleasant and popular outdoor restaurant gets stunning views of the City Palace complex and the Lake Palace. It serves Continental and Chinese dishes as well as Indian: the standards include paneer do piaza (soft white cheese in an onion gravy) and mutton rajputana (spicy, Mewari-style). There's beer, and the restaurant is open for all three meals. If you're here at dinner, be sure to bring the mosquito repellant.
