Fodor's Review:

Ideal for those who want to "camp" in luxury, this is one of the best resorts in all India. In landscaped gardens on the edge of the national park, its ceremonial gateway (complete with welcoming elephants) leads to a magical lobby with beautiful frescoes and a splendid residential area, where luxury tents evoke all the magnificence of the former royal lifestyle. The air-conditioned tents have teakwood floors, walled gardens, private decks, and charming bathrooms with stand-alone bathtubs. The sand-tone resort blends with the hills and the forest. You can also take advantage of the excellent spa facilities and swimming pool here, or take an elephant picnic into the countryside. A renowned conservationist, Fateh Singh Rathore, delivers a lecture every evening. Pros: organically grown vegetables from the resort's own garden contribute to the fresh flavors at the restaurant; staff is young, warm, ever ready to go the extra mile to ensure your comfort. Cons: expensive.
