This elegant sandstone palace to the west of the fort was built in 1899. Still owned by the Maharaja of Jaisalmer, the palace has large rooms with old-style furniture and views of the fort. The restaurant serves multicuisine food. Pros: elegant setting. Cons: there's no bar, but beer can be served on request.
