Castle Mandawa Review

Towering high above the town of Mandawa, this rugged, amber-color fort has been converted to a luxury Heritage Hotel. Sword-bearing guards welcome you at the gate; inside, the walls display 16th-century portraits of the Mandawa family. The spacious, airy rooms are furnished with period furniture. Check out the panoramic view from the canopied balconies and turreted battlements. Dinner is an enchanting candlelit affair in an open-air courtyard with live local entertainment. Camel, horse, and jeep safaris are available. It all makes for an ideal place to stay for a night and explore the enchanting town of Mandawa.
