Not to be confused with the Lake Palace on Lake Pichola, this hotel is run by a Rajput family and benefits both from an excellent location on Lake Pichola and friendly service. Two suites have a Jacuzzi and another has a steam room. The rooms are full of artifacts and colored glass panes. Pros: deluxe rooms and suites have a terrace with beautiful city views, great location, and good service. Cons: no pool or Internet.
