Pushkar Resorts Review
The spirit of the maharajas blends well with the comforts of resort living here, and guests can relax poolside under the shade of a palm tree far from Pushkar's chaotic main bazaar, a 15-minute jeep ride away. European-style rooms (in cottages) have views of the Savitri Temple that crowns a mountain near the resort. Because of its location—technically beyond town limits—the hotel can serve meat dishes and alcoholic drinks, in an otherwise dry and vegetarian town. The hotel's regal camel cart rides (additional price) are famous—a sunset journey through nearby sand dunes.
