Fodor's Review:

Built of golden sandstone, this popular hotel is spacious and elegant. Rooms are arranged in haveli-style blocks around a series of small interior courtyards with skylights and fountains. Interiors are Western-style, with some Rajasthani touches and large, lovely windows. This expansive retreat is popular with foreign tour groups looking for a break from the city center. Pros: palace's pool is the deepest in Jaisalmer. Cons: food is decent but nothing special.
