- rack rates for basic rooms start around $900, subterranean pool is lovely but no good for tanning
- stone architecture, high ceilings, and marble flooring are a bit stuffy and echo-filled
Cons

Book NowUmaid Bhawan Palace Review
Live like royalty for a night in this magnificent fort palace, one of the grandest hotels in Rajasthan. Still home to the titular Maharaja of Jodhpur, it has served as a backdrop for many Indian and foreign films. Walking into the massive circular domed lobby is an awe-inspring experience. The public rooms are lavish, and filled with objects d'art; many of the rooms, though not opulent, are designed in art-deco style. There's a beautiful, blue indoor pool and an exclusive spa in the basement.
