The best-known of these lush lodgings are Udaipur's Lake Palace and Udaivilas, Jodhpur's Umaid Bhawan Palace, and Jaipur's Taj Rambagh Palace and Oberoi Rajvilas. Rajasthan is also famous for Heritage Hotels, a group of castles, forts, and havelis that have been converted to elegant accommodations. Samode Haveli (Jaipur), Castle Mandawa (Shekhawati), Rohet Garh (near Jodhpur), Fateh Prakash Palace (Udaipur), Jagat Niwas Palace Hotel and Kankarwa Haveli (Udaipur), and Laxmi Vilas Palace (Bharatpur) are among the finest.
