At this public park (really a wildlife sanctuary) you can enjoy the view of the park's 12th-century artificial lake and the royal family's beautiful 19th-century summer palace, now a hotel. The lake is surrounded by a thick jungle of fruit trees called badis. It's the perfect place for a tranquil stroll -- just beware the mischievous monkeys, who are always on the watch for good pranks (and good vegetable pakoras, or fritters). Don't try to pluck the fruit from the trees, as the monkeys will fight you for it.
