Mehers' Handloom, opened in 2000 by a family of master weavers from Sonepur, one of the great weaving villages of Orissa, has an attractive shop with hand-loomed traditional and ikat (woven from tie-dyed yarn where both the weft and the warp are matched) saris, fabrics, bedcovers, and other items, as well as fine pieces from all over India.
