Part of the new Ginger budget-hotel chain launched by the Tata Group, which owns the Taj hotels, this motel, opened in 2006, is spic-and-span, with economically priced rooms in a functional environment. Like at other Ginger locations, the concept is well carried out here. Rooms are ultramodern, sleek, and minimalist, with Scandinavian-style furniture, bare blond-wood floors, and bright interiors that generate good taste but shy away from being cozy. Bathrooms are small and modern. Every room has Wi-Fi, a fridge, a coffeemaker, a phone, and flat-screen TV. The motel also has an ATM and an Internet café. A standard buffet, available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, is served in the cafeteria-style dining area in the lobby. There's no room service, but you are welcome to order in food from outside. Its an ideal setup for young budget travelers.
