This friendly 24-year-old hotel has efficient, courteous service. The building is on one of Bhubaneswar's main thoroughfares, close to the train station; for maximum quiet, ask for a room in the back. All the rooms are a good size, clean and relaxing, with plain, unremarkable contemporary furnishings, small sitting area, and big padded headboards; standard rooms have twin beds, and deluxe rooms have kings. Bathrooms are large but have showers. The Executive and Exclusive restaurants offer a wide variety of tasty food including plenty of seafood. All in all, Swosti is an old-fashioned, conventional, comfortable hotel complete patachitra paintings decorating the lobby.
