This simple open-air restaurant, with a relaxed feel popular with foreigners, serves a heck of a grilled tuna at six or seven picnic tables under thatched huts in a tiny, handkerchief-size garden. In addition to other local fish and great grilled prawns, you can get pasta dishes, sandwiches (including peanut butter and banana on a toasted roll), soups, pakoras (deep-fried chick-pea-flour fritters), fries, and good breakfasts, such as delicious French toast with apples or bananas baked inside. The set menu includes main course, dal, rice, and a vegetable.
